November:   Start of 3 year part-time professional course at the College of Natural Medicine for Naturopathic Nutrition

Jekka McVicar's Herb Farm - How to propogate herbs and plants workshop so that I can have some wonderful specialist herbs for you to buy when you visit

Back to the Leith's School of Food & Wine as a part-time senior teacher for the buzzing Saturday school - very exciting to be back in the team at the cutting edge!

Ivy arrives - puppy chaos but long term health plan in action!

Vitality group moves to Manor House School as family object to overuse of the kitchen!

Eldest son leaves home to live in Yorkshire.... not quite time on my hands yet!

2016 

Nutrition for Everyday Living'  Short Course at College of Natural Medicine

'Why nutrition is the key to Alzheimer's' with Professor Dale Bredesen and Dr Rangan Chatterjee. A totally inspiring event which spurs me on to continue on my quest to eat well and help others learn to do so too.

Vitality Group starts as my knowlege of becoming well through densely nutritious food and lifestyle seems to help my clients.

2014  Polesden Lacy Food Festival, workshops and dems galore

2013   Brought my team together to continue the business as a group.  Fun times for us all and continued interest in health and food as medicine

2012   BITK looking like a solid opportunity and able to fit around the kids.  Met with a few challenges in family life with parents declining and exhaustion.... my quest for better health started here

2011   Started trialling 'Be in the Kitchen' during youngest son's final year at primary school

2008/9   Part-time PGCE (called a DTLLS as I don't have a degree) at Brooklands College, Weybridge with view to teaching in schools.  Great qualification, great to learn about teaching in a sixth form college but definitely not for me!

2002-7   The Pampered Chef.  Selling fantastic home kitchen equipment through direct sales, giving me an opportunity to build a team and get out of my house!  I adored bulding my team, conferences, award trips and buzz of the company - not to mention all the great kitchen tools, many of which I still have with me today   

1997-2002  Babies, dogs, moving house a few times .... Rory, Josie, Louis, Damson (Gordon Setter!) and major building work over several years to create our wonderful home and garden

1994   Joyfully married Mark :)

1993-7   Joined Leith's School of Food & Wine to become a Senior Teacher and Demonstrator.  I was with the school for just over 3 years, during which time I co-wrote the 'Leith's Seasonal Bible' and assisted in the production of 'Chef's School' TV series and book

1991   Joined Espree Leisure Ltd, a 5* brand new Health and Fitness Club at Royal Mint Court, byTower of London.  Set up from scratch, train chefs and manage the restaurant.  Repeated when the second club opened  

1990   1 year spent on classic 84' sailing yacht 'Sumurun'.   A year sailing across the Atlantic including North America, Bermuda, Carribean, Azores, Uk, Channel Islands, Scandinavia and Ireland

1988   2 years chef and restaurant management training with Roux Restaurants Ltd under the guidance of Albert.  3 month stints at all the London restaurants as chef with a 3 week taster at Le Gavroche 

1987   The essential Pitman's typing course in foodie Bath, chalet girl in Val d'Isere, private chef and travelling across America - introduction via Michael Von-Clemm (incredibly inspirational foodie who funded Le Gavroche at its start) to Albert Roux

1985/6   Leith's School of Food & Wine Diploma Course - Achieved with a huge smile and winner of the Moet & Chandon 'Most employable student of the year' Award!

Summer 1985   Schools over!  End of A'Levels and ready to get cooking....
